BURTON MYSTERY SKELETON KEY 154
|Availability:||In stock (4)|
Due to the global pandemic this board was not produced in the quantities that were planned for. Instead Burton created the Skeleton Key XX which was made with a slightly different core than what was planned for the Skeleton Key Mystery. In the end, a few Skeleton Key Mysteries were produced making this one of the most limited boards we have ever had in our fleet. Grab one, or two, before they're gone forever!
The 2021 Burton Mystery Skeleton Key is the culmination of all of Burton's resources coming together to make the best board possible, injected into one of their most popular board shapes. It floats in powder without breaking a sweat, carves the groomers with pinpoint precision, and can even handle the park. Featuring their lightest ever core, their fastest ever base, and confidential Mystery construction, we're pretty sure some of the materials in this board shouldn't even exist yet, but here they are all coming together to make one of the lightest, most powerful, and highest performing snowboards ever conceived. Poppy directional camber keeps the power underfoot while keeping the nose above the surface, and the unique lightweight design rides well and turns heads. The Skeleton Key is a board we can't get enough of, so get in quick or you'll miss out.

Board Type: All Mountain
Camber Type: Directional Camber
The original, tried and true camber type, and the advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision. Traditional camber is the most aggressive camber type, offering unmatched power, response, and edge control. Directional Camber puts rocker in the nose of the board, adding extra float in powder while retaining the response and stability of traditional camber.
Flex: 4.5/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)
Directional Flex - This board is constructed differently from nose to tail, putting more pop in the tail and strengthening the nose, allowing you to easily maintain control and charge through a variety of snow conditions.
Shape: Freeride Directional
This board has a shape designed specifically for freeriding, featuring a longer, wider nose and a shorter, tapered tail which combine to give you effortless float in powder and better performance riding forwards.
